Keep in mind, however, that these movements are widely used in a number of the best brands. They typically source ETA movements, the same movements that can be found in much cheaper watches - sub $1000 tissots for example. The lower end Tags don't use in house movements. What the connoisseurs don't tell you is that in those same stores, you can often find Breitlings, Omegas, and even Rolexs. Because of the mall establishments, they are often priced very high, with very little discount off MSRP. This means that when you go into mid range jewelry stores that carry watches in the mall (and anchors like Macy) you'll find Tags in there. Tags are sometimes called "Mall Watches," and often looked down on by watch connoisseurs. I'm no expert, but I have a couple Tags, and read a bit recently when buying my second, so I'll give you what I know.
